v1.0.0.5 Patch Notes


Note: When updating to a new version, just extract the contents of the new ZIP to the same location where you put the previous ZIP, overwriting all files.  Settings and save game data are located elsewhere and will remain intact.

  • Fixed bug where sometimes environment variables from most recent save game were mistakenly being preserved when loading a previous save game.
  • Fixed bug where inventory items from active save game were carrying over to new game.
  • Fixed bug where characters on the main menu would sometimes get repositioned in mid-air.
  • "DETENTION" in classroom is now clickable.
  • Improved player pathing in living room and foyer.
  • Small "X" icon for closing readable view of pages no longer gets stuck in its mouseover state.
  • Pressing the "C" key while you're getting an incoming phone call now correctly answers the phone.
  • No longer showing "use X with" when trying to combine items with abilities; abilities were always intended to be toggles and not "items" and thus cannot be combined with anyway.
  • Now prevented from opening inventory grid in various places that might cause player to get stuck (e.g. while using stairs).
  • Fixed bug where speech bubble would sometimes be drawn offscreen while inventory grid was open.
  • Fixed logic bug causing incorrect text on living room gaming consoles.
  • Fixed right-click bug on television.
  • When interacting with corner street signs, look direction is now based on player position relative to lamppost.
  • Shadows now properly animate when exiting the Frugal Mart.
  • Updated description of active abilities in tutorial milestone popup.
  • Updated credits to add some missing names and fix some formatting bugs.
